For me at least, photography is about really seeing as opposed to rarely seeing! This is a status of being that one needs to attune themselves to. Seeing light is a wonderful thing, being able to capture it even more so! I am still learning how to achieve the end result of what I had envisioned at the start of this seeing, and sometimes feeling, process!

I really try not to be anal about the equipment and processes that I choose to use - although I know there will be a few wry smiles from those in the know. I have become captivated by the wetplate collodion process. At present most images are made using a Kodak Masterview 10x8 camera for which I have an AWB wetplate holder with inserts for different plate sizes.
